Steven
E. Frohman is a speaker, consultant, and business owner. He is president of Applied
Synergistics, Inc., a Wisconsin-based management consulting firm. His firm specializes in
organizational effectiveness and business process management. Youll find his
opinions quoted in such publications as The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and
The Chicago Tribune. His broad-based experience spans from positions in senior
management and marketing for a high-tech Fortune 500 company to owning and
operating small service and manufacturing businesses. Steve has worked with organizations
across multiple industries and currently consults in public and private sectors. His
thought-provoking keynotes and seminars provide insightful and systematic strategies for
dealing with the challenges and opportunities associated with change. He is known for his
interactive and engaging style.

Fried, Ph.D.
N.
Elizabeth Fried, Ph.D., joined our team in 1995 as a strategic partner. She is president
of N. E. Fried and Associates, Inc., an Ohio-based human resources consulting firm
specializing in cash compensation. Prior to starting her firm in 1983, she served in a
variety of technical and management roles for a major financial institution. Dr. Fried
presents keynotes and seminars at corporate and association meetings and conventions. Her
client list includes such diverse organizations as Chevron Chemical, Coopers and Lybrand,
Ernst & Young, GE Aircraft Engines, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Johnson &
Johnson, National Institute of Standards and Technology, New York New England Telephone,
California State University, and Walt Disney World. Her work has been quoted in The
Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Times, Business Week, and Fortune
Magazine. She has published over 30 professional articles, two books, and co-authored
a technical booklet for the American Compensation Association.
